Unlike other retail stores where a one-on-one interview is conducted with each applicant, Abercrombie conducts group interviews.
How to Apply for a Retail Job

Submit at Your Local Retail Store
You can walk into an Abercrombie store and apply for a job. However, unlike other retail stores, Abercrombie has a paperless application process. You’ll need to enter the desired position on your application. You can choose to be either an Impact employee or a Model employee.

Things to Consider When Applying With Abercrombie
- Some stores utilize the employee staff for both impact and model duties. If you don’t want to work outside of the stock room or wish to be a model employee only, then before you accept a job offer you’ll need to ask what the store’s policy is concerning cross-training of the staff.
- If you are hired, your dress code will be very strict. You will be forbidden to wear anything with a logo unless it is Abercrombie. You cannot wear black clothing, tennis shoes or skater shoes. Footwear choices are limited to sandals, vans or converse.
- Abercrombie does not giveaway free clothing. This myth is still circulating. You will receive a discount to purchase clothing from the store where you work. If you can't afford to purchase all of your clothes from Abercrombie, be sure to select clothes that are similar in style.
