Research Companies
Before divulging any personal information to a company or potential employer, make sure you research the company. Scammers hide behind international companies because people do not know about them. These scams can place you in serious legal issues and end up costing you a lot of money.
To find out if a company is reputable, type in the company’s name with the word scam after it on the Google search engine. This should bring up company information and problems people have with it. If these search results do not give you information about the legitimacy of the company, try to contact one of the country’s government offices.
Culture is Important
Whenever moving to another country, take the time to learn about the culture. Conforming to the rules can help acceptance into the community and prevent you from offending others. For example, people in Libya do not smoke in public. This country prohibits the use of alcohol and drugs. Women wear a headscarf and dress conservatively..
